Review my payroll tax setupPayroll taxes need more than a calendar reminder.
A new work location, a payroll correction, or a change in employee information can affect the details behind a filing. When records are spread across systems, it is easy for payroll and tax work to drift apart. Aquila helps manage payroll tax filings as part of a connected payroll service.
We support Columbus and Ohio employers, as well as businesses with multi-state payroll needs. Our team reviews the current payroll setup and agreed filing scope so you know what Aquila handles, what information is needed, and which responsibilities stay with your business.
Keep payroll and filing work in step.
Federal, state and local filings
Manage the payroll tax filings included in your engagement. We review the applicable accounts and payroll information so the filing workflow reflects your business rather than a generic checklist.
Multi-state payroll support
Work through payroll needs when employees live or work in different states. Tell us about new locations early so the relevant setup and filing questions can be reviewed.
Records and issue review
Keep filing work connected to payroll changes and records. If you receive a notice or uncover a prior-period issue, bring it to the scope discussion so we can identify the appropriate next step.

Does this service include business income tax returns?
This page covers payroll and employment tax filing support. Corporate income tax returns, personal income tax returns, and nonprofit annual returns are different services and are not represented as included here.
Do employers remain responsible when payroll taxes are outsourced?
Yes. The IRS says employers generally remain responsible for their federal payroll tax obligations when using a payroll service provider. Clear responsibilities and access to records matter. Outsourcing payroll does not remove that responsibility.
Can you help if we already use another payroll platform?
Aquila offers managed payroll and tax filing support within an agreed engagement. We first review your platform, existing setup, and filing responsibilities to determine a suitable scope.
What should we bring to a tax filing review?
Start with your current payroll platform, business locations, employee work states, filing account information, and any notices or unresolved questions. Share documents through an agreed secure process, not the general website inquiry form.
